Upload Ups it Game for VR Education in Los AngelesUpload, Inc., a virtual and augmented reality company focused on accelerating the growth of the consumer VR industry, announced Thursday the opening date of its headquarters in Los Angeles.

According to details dished to VRJournal, Upload will debut the soon to be completed 2-story building made for the continued establishment and growth of the VR/AR ecosystem through coworking, incubation and education with a grand opening event on April 13.

“Upload LA will serve as the company’s headquarters and will be the company’s second location. The 20,000 square foot space, located in Marina Del Rey, will be equipped with state-of-the-art virtual reality technology and space for more than 100 companies to work simultaneously,” the company tells us.

Additional, we’ve learned that the space is currently in its final stage of the custom buildout and renovation designed by Rapt Studio.

“Our goal with Upload LA is to provide the local VR/AR community with the best possible resources and connections to succeed in this burgeoning industry,” said Taylor Freeman, founder and CEO of Upload, Inc. “Los Angeles was the natural choice for our second location given the explosive growth of immersive tech startups in the area.”

VRJournal will cover the April 13th opening.
