The North Face and Jaunt Studios Try On New VR Content for SizeThe North Face, maker of ubiquitous outdoor apparel, equipment and footwear, has teamed up once again with Jaunt Studios, an increasingly well-known purveyor of cinematic virtual reality experiences.

On Tuesday, the brands announced a new VR experience titled “The North Face: Nepal.”

According to an announcement shared with VRJournal, the new VR content will be available for all smartphone users and in retail locations in San Francisco, New York and will be expanded into the brand’s new Regent Street location in London.

Not surprisingly, the marketing powers-that-be at The North Face are pumped about capitalizing on the cool opportunities afforded by virtual reality.

“At The North Face, we’re always looking for new and innovative ways to share our stories, as well as inspire our customers’ interest in getting outdoors. We’ve seen great success sharing VR in-store with the Moab and Yosemite film,” says Eric Oliver, Director of Digital Marketing at The North Face. “With this new Nepal footage, we’re excited to showcase the wonder of one of the most beautiful places in the world.”

The marketing team confirms that the North Face cinematic VR will be available for download through Jaunt’s app in Google Play and iTunes beginning today.
