At SXSW Booth 2003 (at the SXSW Gaming Expo), visitors can be the first to experience a “dramatic new experience in virtual reality.”
VRJournal has learned that Holospark — a new, independent game studio just outside of Seattle — will offer five-minute demonstrations of Séance: The Unquiet, excerpted from what will be a twenty-minute experience releasing this summer.
What is the game in question? Séance: The Unquiet is described as being a “new and eerie VR experience set in a haunted house full of mysterious secrets.”
According to a media release from the makers of the experience, Séance: The Unquiet is releasing on Windows PC for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive VR headsets in 2017.
“We’re telling a ghost story full of character, drama, scares, and surprises,” said writer and executive producer John Scott Tynes of Holospark. “And we’re using the immersive power of interactive virtual reality to put you inside the story in a way you won’t forget.”
