Check Out the First Virtual Reality Holiday Card‘Tis the season for virtual reality.

Transparent House, a creative agency with an obvious eye for cutting-edge technology, has just launched what it calls a “groundbreaking” twist on the traditional holiday card.

What they are referring to is a virtual reality holiday card (called “Happy VR”), available now in the Apple App Store and Google Play store (note: the URL isn’t available at this time).

The offering in question is promoted as being a fully-immersive, 360-surround mobile VR app that “transports viewers to a festive San Francisco street corner where they can celebrate with the entire Transparent House team.”

All told, it’s a great way to integrate VR into the holiday card experience and (not to mention an excellent way to score some PR points in response to Transparent House’s innovation).

“We wanted to invite clients to celebrate the holidays with us in the city we’ve called home for over 10 years – and what better way than to bring them right into an urban streetscape full of clanging cable car bells, festive decorations and bustling holiday cheer,” said Denis Krylov, co-founder and partner at Transparent House.
